From Inside is an official selection for the 2010 Fantaspoa Film Festival in Brazil.
We're this close (<---->) to getting From inside off my computer and in front of your eyes. We are finalizing an agreement with a distributor. Details soon (have I said that before?).
One of the final preparations is the making of a new second score. This one by the great Brett Smith, with guests. Image above is from one of Brett's sessions. As his guest performers are confirmed, I'll post info -- and maybe a track or two if I can... and be sure to click Brett's link -- two new AMAZING Caul albums just released.

From Inside has been playing every week through the month of September at Smart Cinema in Amsterdam. One more week left.
From Inside won an Honorary Mention at the SOPOT Film Festival in Poland. Thanks to everyone at the festival for screening my film.
Also had a great screening this month at DragonCon2009.
News about the film's availability coming soon (you'll see it soon, I promise).

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of being interviewed by Toni Pennacchia for Spoiler Alert Radio.
The interview is here.
My speaking skills for the interview were approx. 2 cups of coffee to the wind (ie: depressed-sounding, but with lots of words -- it takes about 4 cups to make me sound like I’m not talking from under a dark staircase).
I had fun talking with Toni and I encourage you to page back through the Spoiler Alert archives and listen to her other interviews. I’ve discovered some great work there!

Both the Kansas City FilmFest and Independent Film Festival Boston web sites have gone live. At the sites, you can check schedules and purchase tickets.
In Kansas City, From Inside screens Friday, April 24, 7:15pm at the AMC Mainstreet 2 (1400 Main Street KC MO).
I'll be attending the screening. If the fest allows me to do so (I'm not a danger to patrons. Honest.), I will introduce the film and say hello. So if you're in the area...
In Boston, From Inside screens Saturday, April 25, 7:15pm at the Brattle Theater.
In Amsterdam From Inside screens April 24 at 20:10.
From Inside will also be screening April 30 at the Dead By Dawn festival in Edinburgh, Scotland.
April. From Inside month.
...and, as always, check out my current blog at Grinder Tool & Die where I constantly embarrass myself and confuse people.

My posts on this blog used to be so exciting. I just noticed the last dozen or so are all festival announcements -- which pales in comparison to exciting things like polygon counts or walking.
That's the way filmmaking goes... Making a film is intense and all-consuming. You agonize and toil for a year, two years, or three years, or a hundred years... then it's over one day.
So; thanks to all festivals who have screened (or will be screening) From Inside. It's nice to have you here at the end. Even though blogging about you does not make for exciting text, like, say fog does.
Couple of upcoming From Inside announcements that I'm very excited about. In the meantime, I invite you to check out my official web site, Grinder Tool & Die where you can see how exciting my non From Inside work is. At least the music is free.
